Gaming and literacy: do they play together?

Many libraries are becoming “brighter and noisier” places as they evolve to accommodate the interests of the Millenials and the Digital natives. Introducing interactive gaming into the library is one of the strategies. Amidst an ongoing debate about the educational, social, and cultural value of video games, one small library in South Carolina is taking a step toward cementing the relationship between gaming and literacy.
