WebJunction’s niche in the blogosphere
I am betting you will find more people reading BlogJunction via RSS than are going to it directly. I only go to it to add comments to posts.
Like the font and overall layout. You could do something using colors to make the design a tad more interesting/lively.
Thanks for your comment, Bill. We do have a decent-size nest egg of RSS subscribers to BlogJunction, but there are many folks out there who have not adopted the tool. In fact, we have been featuring a RSS How-To on the WebJunction homepage this week, to remind our members of that nifty way to pull relevant news and information to their in-box. RSS feeds are available throughout WebJunction, including the Discussion Boards.

It is a tricky thing: members have described the website’s look as everything from “so cheerful” to “depressing”, “fresh and modern” to “stuck in the 80s.” For now, we will stick with our muted, cool palate: but watch for the liveliness and warmth to blossom on the site and blog in other ways.
We like to think of the color scheme as “understated elegance.”
