We’re so excited about the uptake of our new courses and course catalog. I just got the first (very preliminary) look at our course enrollments since launch and Excel tops the charts with more than 154 enrollments in one Excel course or another. Other popular course areas include Budgeting, Managing Difficult Patrons or Customers, Children’s Services, and Weeding (links go to courses or course categories).
If you’re a WebJunction member who has tried one of these courses, please let us know with your comments or tags after you complete the course. Also, if you’re completing a course with a cohort, please feel free to start a group or discussion to support your work in the course. As ever, tell us if there’s something you need that we don’t have. We want to hear from you.
Happy learning…

I completed CAT001,CAT002 and CAT003 and had begun work on CAT004 the final part of the cataloging course. I now cannot access LibraryU as it states that you took over the courses. I went into my account and found that you do not have any courses listed for me. Can you tell me how to acces the CAT004 course so that I can completed it.
The LibraryU courses are undergoing a conversion process and some of them will be added to the WebJunction catalog over the next few months. Unfortunately WebJunction will not be offering the LibraryU CAT004 course in the near future. We are working on trying to get contact info for LibraryU support so that you can contact them directly to get more help with this issue.
Here’s an update- someone from LibraryU will be commenting with more information soon.
Hi Linda. I’m sorry that you didn’t see the messages that were posted on the LibraryU site regarding the course transition and site shutdown. You can get additional information on the CAT004 course if you go to http://www.libraryu.org and use the “Contact the LibraryU Staff” link. – Lisa Barnhart, LibraryU Project Coordinator
