David Lee King’s webinar on Digital Branches this Tuesday drew more than 400 attendees, which was record attendance for WebJunction live events. If you missed it, be sure to visit the webinar archive page, which includes the full presentation, the chat log, the slides, and an audio-only recording. It also has links to lots of additional online resources on the topic.
There was lots of chatter on Twitter as well, with participants using a hashtag to make it easier for folks to search for the comments. Just type in #dbranch in the Twitter search box, and you’ll see every “tweet” posted with that tag. I thought that many of the questions raised by the attendees were terrific, and many people (including David) expressed a desire to keep the discussion going. As a result, Jennifer has seeded the Virtual Libraries discussion board with many of the questions and issues posed by the webinar participants. Join in by signing into WebJunction and heading over to the Virtual Library page.
